This lock contains through bolt holes either side of the spindle hole, which enable use of the through bolts supplied with our lever on rose handles.
Double sprung or Architectural quality basically means heavy duty. You would select this standard of lock or latch for ‘un-sprung’ furniture or doors that are in constant use. Perhaps in a commercial type environment.
