Lightweight loose pin butt hinge. A loose pin butt hinge that has a centre pin that can be easily removed from the barrel to separate the hinge. Also sometimes called removable pin hinges. ÿThe advantage of having a loose pin hinge is that the door can be uninstalled without having to remove the hinge from either the door or the door jamb. ÿThe pin can be tapped out (upwards) of the hinge to allow the door to be lifted away with little effort.
